Rosie Lee Biggerstaff, died at age 62 on August 11, 2019 at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, California. From her birth on October 22, 1956 to her very last day, Rosie could light up any room she walked into with her magnificent spirit and beautiful smile. Known for her “rosey” cheeks and sassy personality, Rosie was truly one of a kind.
Rosie’s tremendous heart was reflected when she dedicated a large portion of her life to running her own daycare “Little Trolls”. She was always known for her joy and passion in changing the lives of children in the most incredible ways. When she was not working, many days, you could catch her grinning ear to ear with the windows down in her tiny green tracker.
Shortly after, she decided to live her life to the fullest and move across country to sunny San Diego, enjoying time by the beach with her granddaughter and three great grandsons. There, they not only hiked up mountains, but they enjoyed many festivals and adventures throughout the city.
Rosie not only left an everlasting mark on all of our lives, but will forever be remembered as the astonishing and soulful queen she was. She is survived by her beloved mother Pinkie Proctor, her children – Edward Cunningham, James Holloway, Isaac Holloway, Annjeanette Bottoms, Curtis Cunningham, and April English. Also, her siblings – Lily Clay, Kathleen Jackson, Christopher Proctor, Johnny Proctor, and Linda Hardeman. To include, many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Rosie will forever live on in our hearts and we are forever grateful to have had the time we did with her as a blessing in our lives.
