Rosetta M. Garner, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 9, 2016.
She was born on February 16, 1929 in Plymouth, Indiana to the late George and Gladys Cauffman. After graduating from high school, she and her sister both served in the Air Force during the Korean War, and she has a plaque at the Women's Verterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Rosetta retired from Western Electric after 32 years, and later also retired from Bank One. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and dancing, but she loved her family above all else.
She is survived by her children; Teresa Hogan, Lorraine Hill (Jeff); Charles “Bucky” Garner (Gail), Charlotte Deal (Roland), Connie Garner, grandchildren; Stevie, Tabitha, Niki, Kaitlin, Crystal, great-grandchild, Tristan, and step-daughters; Kitty, Jo and Kathy.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 17, from 4:00pm-8:00pm with a service on Friday, November 18, 1:00pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
