Rosendo Cantos Tolentino

Rosendo C. Tolentino 77, of Indianapolis, IN died March 13, 2017. Rosendo was born on March 01, 1940 in Lucena City, Philippines to Nestorio C. and Elena C. Tolentino. Rosendo graduated from National University where he earned his degree in Architecture. He placed 4th place when he took the architecture board exam. He exceled in his profession. Rosendo owned and operated Ross Rendering for several years before migrating to the United States in 1973. He was a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church since 1974 where he gave of his time, talent and treasure. Rosendo was preceded in death by his parents, and 4 siblings. Calling will be held on Friday March 17, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway from 4 to 8 pm. Additional calling will be held on Saturday March 18, 2017 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church from 9 to 10 am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 am. Rosendo is survived by his wife M. Emelita (Tagle) Tolentino, his children: Monina (Ka Su Kelly) Tolentino, Marissa Tolentino, Ronald (Miranda “Randi”) Tolentino, Michelle (Travis) Day and Matthew Tolentino. He has five grandchildren: Elijah, Ian and Lucas Tolentino, Tristan and Landon Day. His only living sister, Lydia T. Gregorio. Entombment will be at Washington Park North Cemetery.
