RoseMary Dooley

RoseMary Dooley (née Carmen), 72, of New Palestine, IN passed into the arms of her loving Savior on April 13, 2025. Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 at New Palestine Bible Church on April 19. Funeral services will take place directly following at 12:00 pm.

Born in Northfield, New Jersey, on February 18, 1953, RoseMary graduated with a BS and MA in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University. Known for her dedication, tenacity, and sheer love of learning, she spent over 40 years teaching elementary school students state-side, abroad, and in her own home as a homeschool educator. She enjoyed spearheading her church’s Operation Christmas Child ministry, learning about nature, and cherishing time with her family.

RoseMary was preceded in death by her father, Milford Carmen, and mother, Rose Mary Carmen (née Horvath). She is survived by her devoted husband, Don, and her children, Erin Reaper (Sonny), Matthew Dooley (Crystal), Ian Dooley (Angelica), and her seven grandchildren: Savannah, Hudson, Trinity, Liam, Hayden, Jamison, and Margaret (Maggie Rose).

RoseMary will be remembered for her fierce loyalty and steadfast love – for her friends, for her family, and – most importantly – for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Operation Christmas Child, where Rosie joyfully volunteered for many years.
