Rosemary A. Lupinski, 97, passed from this life to the next October 6 after a longdecline. She was born December 14th, 1919 to Edward Boecher andBernardine (Bellmer) Boecher in Chicago Illinois. She was one of ninechildren. She grew up in Chicago and married Lucian Lupinski in1955. They moved to Peoria Illinois in 1960 and eventually toIndianapolis in 1974. Rosemary was a homemaker for most of her marriedlife but started a late in life career with the State Employment SecurityDivision in the late 1970’s, retiring in 1984. She was active in the churchesshe attended, particularly St. Bernard’s in Peoria Illinois and St. Gabriel’sin Indianapolis. She enjoyed good food and good wine and was an excellentcook, seamstress and knitter.
Rosemary is survived by her son, Lucian Jr.(Peg), grandchildren, Lucian William, Alex, Joey, Teddy, and Lydia, sister,Martha Hermann, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling for Rosemary Lupinski willbe on Thursday, October 12 from 5-8 PM at St. Alphonsus Liguori CatholicChurch, 1870 W. Oak Street, Zionsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be onFriday, October 13 at 11 AM at the church, followed by interment in Our Lady ofPeace Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Little Sisters of thePoor St. Augustine’s Home for the Elderly, 2345 West 86th Street, Indianapolis,IN 46260.
