Rosemarie Brumfield

Our dearly beloved mother, Rosemarie (Vogel) Brumfield, sadly passed away on August 11, 2022.

Rosemarie, 87, was from North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. She was born December 3, 1934. She met her American GI husband, Walter Brumfield, in 1952, post-World War II Germany.  He preceded her in passing in 2009.

Rosemarie was a devoted mother to her 5 children. She enjoyed music, dancing, traveling, and fashion. Her interests in particular were in arts and philosophy. She maintained life-long friendships from around the world. She was proficient in sewing, knitting, embroidery, and crochet.

Rosemarie was a military Air Force wife for over 20 years. She was also employed in sales and was a top-earning manager with Gloria Marshalls. She then went into home healthcare and was an aid for many years to the elderly.

Rosemarie is preceded in death by her father and mother, Josef and Paula Vogel; her brothers, Heinz and Dieter Vogel; and sister, Karina Grimm.  She is survived by her only brother, Theo Vogel of Australia. She is also survived by her children, Patricia Jeannette Brumfield, Paula Josette Tabor, Dieter Renee Brumfield, Monika Suzette Heath, and Angelina Wardwell; 7 grandchildren, Joshua Dale, Richard Heath, Sarah Mitchell, Andrew Hackleman, Aaron Hackleman, Austin Wardwell, and Sabrina Wardwell; 11 great grandchildren, Hannah, Landon, Taylor, Olivia, Kayde, Zalen, Zaxon, Zinnia, Zeppelin, Autumn, Mya, and Oliver; and 1 great-great grandchild, Jax.
