Rose Rathaus

Rose Rathaus, 91, Indianapolis, passed away December 16, 2015. She was born in Vilnius, Russia to the late Velko and Fania Zelman in 1924. She later moved her family to the United States in 1962 for a better life for her children. Rose was a hard worker and a loving mother, wife and grandmother, devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Fred Pogos, second husband, Naftali Rathaus, and her sister, Bertha Neufeld. Mrs. Rathaus is survived by her two daughters, Ellen Pogos, and Ina (Mike) Whitman, and grandchildren, Michael (Sabrina) Whitman and Rachel (Corey Fundenberger) Whitman. Memorial contributions may be made to Hooverwood, 7001 Hoover Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46260.
