Rosalyn Louise Soendker

Rosalyn L. “Rose” Soendker of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on April 9, 2025, at 84 years of age. She was born November 8, 1940, in Montgomery, Indiana to the late John and Anna (Wilson) Montgomery. She was a 1958 graduate of Barr Reeve High School and attended Indiana Central College. Rose had a long career in accounting with several Indianapolis dealerships and manufacturers. Rose loved to travel, and her many journeys included North America, Europe, Australia and China. When at home she enjoyed spending time with her family and playing the piano, accordion or guitar. Rose is survived by her loving husband, Roger Soendker, her children, Greg (Teri) Lents, Randall (Deidre) Lents, Ryan (Lauren) Soendker, her grandchildren, Tiffany (Jeremy), Heather (Jed), Holly (Andrew), Thomas, Allie, Avalee, great grandchildren, Parker, Carson, and her sisters, Ruth, Kathleen (Harry). Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Lents, and her sister, Frances. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the Funeral Service immediately following at 2:00pm, there.
