Ronnie West

Ronnie L. West, 84, of McCordsville, passed away April, 10^th, 2020.

He was born on January 26^th, 1936 to The Late Ira West and The Late Olive Joy (Puckett), in Jasonville, Indiana.

Ronnie served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked and retired from Ford Motor company.

Ronnie had a big, loving family and a full, active life. He loved being outside, golfing and gardening. Ronnie also loved baseball and cheered for his favorite team, the Cardinals.

And of course, he loved spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.

Ronnie’s church family was very important to him. Through attending and serving as a deacon at Shadeland Baptist for over 50 years, he made so many loving friends, including Pastor Randal Morris and his wife Tonya.

Ronnie married his high school sweetheart Ada September 4^th, 1955, in Jasonville, Indiana. The two of them welcomed: three daughters, Kelly (The Late Kevin ) Golden, Joyce West, and Rhonda (David) Walker; four grandchildren Ashley, Kelsey, Leslie, and Brad; eleven great-grandchildren Emerson, Hudson, Serenity, Victoria, Malyia, Roderick Jr, Makaveli, Mileena, Brody, Ava, and Evan; two siblings, his twin brother Donnie (Sharon), and Linda; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by his daughter Debbie, and his siblings Frank, Jack, Tom, JoBell, and Bill.
