On the morning of Saturday, August 21st, 2021, Ronnie Lee Clark Jnr joined ‘the choir invisible’ as Monty Python would say. He is sure to be singing off key, making up his own lyrics and doing so with a sparkle in his bright blue eyes and a crooked little smirk.
Ronnie was 52 years young and was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Lee Clark Sr., also taken too soon. He is survived by his mother Sharon Allen Clark, his grandmother Dorothy Bledsoe Allen, sister, Andrea Lynn Clark, his 3 children: Dakota Lee Clark, Corbin Michael Clark and Maegan Rose Clark, his fiancée Tina, and his only niece, Sarah Alena Robinson, with whom he shared a special bond. He also leaves behind a large extended family who will always remember his gentle nature and humor.
Ronnie was born in Indianapolis and settled just one street over from where he grew up. His mind was always hungry, and his talent was boundless. His art was untaught and natural and deeply woven into who he was. It caused him to see the beauty around him, and add to it by causing smiles and joy. Even strangers sensed this in him. Everywhere he went, people would strike up conversations and he always had time to listen.
If the measure of a man is his kind words, huge heart, and infectious laughter, then he was, indeed, a giant.
