Ronald Wayne Ellis Jr.

Ronald Wayne Ellis Jr., 34, of Indianapolis passed away on October 7, 2021. “Ronnie” could be remembered by his skilled auto painting. At a young age, he shadowed his older brother Josh to learn the ropes and perfect his trade. When it came to his passion, he worked hard—sometimes being referred to an “Workaholic”. He found great joy in sharing his creations with others. When he wasn’t working on cars, Ronnie spent his time with his beloved children. Despite his struggles, he made sure to provide his children with fun times and memories. He enjoyed taking them to Great Times, Chuck-E-Cheese, Skyzone, and different parks. They were undoubtedly his pride and joy. In recent years, Ronnie found comfort attending church every Sunday at Doxa Bible Church on the Southside of Indianapolis. Ronnie was loved by many, and he will be missed by everyone he has touched.

Ronnie is survived by his loving parents, Ronald Wayne Ellis, Sr. and Laura A. Cochran (Michael L. Cochran); his siblings, Josh Kindred (Kristen Wilburn), Jason Ellis, Nicole Ellis, Renee Bailey (Sam), and Jamie Cochran (Will); his beloved children, Alikye, Atticus, Axel, Jinna, Wesley, and Maiah; and his loving girlfriend of 8 years, Kyla Roberts.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 3PM-6PM at Flanner Buchanan—Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington Street. A celebration of life will begin at 6PM.
