Ronald Wayne Cole, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away October 11th, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis, April 27th, 1951, to parents Wayne and Lois (Combs) Cole.
He graduated from John Marshall High School.
Ron was a hard worker and held many jobs over his lifetime. He served for 20 years as a Warren Township Firefighter before retiring. He then continued to serve his community as a police officer and a reserve officer for Cumberland Police Department for 36 years.
On April 24th, 2020, he married the love of his life, Linnae Sutton, at Cumberland Christian Church.
Ron was a diligent, loyal gentleman with a huge heart. He and his wife Linnae enjoyed traveling together, and always looked forward to their monthly date nights. Ron enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR. He had a deep affection for cars, especially Mustangs. Recently, he had the pleasure of owning a Mustang Shelby Cobra, of which he was very proud. Overall, Ron loved spending time with his family and loved being a grandpa.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Ron is survived by his adoring wife, Linnae Cole; children Chris (Emily Galyon) Cole and Tammy (Rick) Terry; grandchildren Elias and Stella Cole, Blake (Emily) Terry, Mackenzie (Chase) Larrison, Alexa Terry, and Max Terry; siblings Glenda Arthur and Donna Cole; many nieces and nephews; parents-in-law Bruce and Cathy Sutton; and their beloved cat Bitsy Blue.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents.
