Ron Miner was born in Indianapolis. He attended Ben Davis high school and graduated college from IUPUI.
In 1984, he began his career deejaying at his family’s roller rink, the iconic Melody Skateland.
Ron was a beloved son and brother. He also served his community as a talented mentor, creator, artist, an irrepressible advocate for racial justice.
He is survived by his father, Ron Miner, step mother, Deanna Miner, his mother, Barbara Lawrence, step father, James Lawrence, younger brother, Jeffrey Miner, nephew, Miles Miner, and his partner, Gabrielle Love.
Extending selfless leadership, inclusiveness, generosity, friendship, and humility, Ron’s passion for life joined people from all races and backgrounds.
His spirit was untethered, and his music was a celebration, enlivening venues and awakening human potential.
Raising money for numerous charitable organizations, Ron enriched countless populations through his annual Thanksgiving and Christmas parties.
Remembered as a man of outstanding character, his soul’s purpose will forever reside as the embodiment of love.
