Ronald "Ronny" E. Hian, Jr.

Ronald “Ronny” E. Hian, Jr., formerly of New Palestine, passed away at his home in Ohio on April 9, 2018 at the age of 55.

Ronny was born December 10, 1962 in Youngstown, Ohio to Ronald E. and Martha A. (Crudgington) Hian, Sr.

Ronny was a 1981 graduate of New Palestine High School. He attended Ball State University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business.  He married the love of his life Michelle L. (Dearth) Hian on September 21, 1996. Ronny worked for more than 20 years for Ford Motor Company and was a member of the U.A.W.  He was an avid Notre Dame fan.

He is survived by his wife Michelle; daughter Anastasia (Ben Dougherty) Alejos; step-daughter Amanda (Jake) Switzer; grandchildren Nathan Dougherty, Austin Switzer, and Zachary Switzer; parents Ronald and Martha; and brothers Russell Hian and Randy (Vicki) Hian.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday, April 19 from 4 to 7 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis with a Sharing of Memories at 7 PM.
