Ronald L. Berry, of Greenfield, passed away on October 13th, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 74. He was born on July 10th, 1947.
Ron proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1966 to 1972. Although a proud veteran, he was a very humble soldier that felt it was simply his duty to serve in the Vietnam War. After leaving active duty, Ron found a home at Navistar (International Harvester) for nearly 20 years.
After retiring from Navistar, he worked as a realtor from 1987 to 2008. He began his career at Century 21 Scheetz and retired from Carpenter Realtors. In 2008, Ron decided retiring from two professions just wasn’t enough. He proceeded to work for Mid America Clinical Labs from 2008 to 2017.
He is survived by his loving wife Debbie Berry; daughters Melinda Waymire (Jeremy) and Dawn Smith (Ben); grandchildren Trinity Woodall, George Smith, Jack Waymire and Phoebe Waymire; and countless other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by Janet Berry, Matthew Berry, and James Berry.
