Ronald H. Davis

Ronnie H. Davis, 86 of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday July 12, 2021. He was born on December 29, 1934 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Robert and Dorothy Davis. He worked at IPL as a lineman and supervisor until he retired. He was serving in the US Army when he met his wife, Ruth in Germany. Together they came to the United States by boat to build their lives together. He loved to fish and fly his model airplanes. Ron and Ruth loved to vacation all over the country, especially anywhere with water.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of over 65 years, Ruth Davis; daughter, Tina (Bob) Zellers; four grandchildren, Ross, Courtney, Cindy and Bryan; and two great grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to gather at 10:00 am on Thursday July 15, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229), where a funeral service will begin at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Franciscan Health Heart Center.
