Ronald Gene Whitsit,

82, of Camby, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. He was born on February 24, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to David and Mildred Whitsit. Ronald always stayed busy with multiple jobs and found joy in working. He enjoyed fishing and racing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, David Whitsit. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Whitsit; children, Ronald Whitsit Jr. (Sandra), Donna Herndon, Jerri Holsclaw (David), and Blaze Whitsit; fur babies, Rocko and Payton; siblings, Richard Whitsit, Mary Long, and Sharon Simpson; grandchildren, Justin Whitsit, Icely Harvey, David Holsclaw (Aimee), Kyle Whitsit-Brown, Katelyn Fletcher (Brandon), David Elliott and Hunter Herndon; great grandchildren, Everett, Aden, Josephine, Brooklyn, Khiah, Jordan and Gabby; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 11am-1pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 North Holt Road, Indianapolis. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1pm.
