Ronald A. Peeters

Ronald A. Peeters, 56, passed away in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve – 12/24/2022.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years Laura; his sons Rob (Robyn) and Joey; his mom Eda; two sisters Michele Vanags and Trisha (Joe) Prout; one niece Jade Vanags and four nephews Hans Vanags, Arie Prout, Jakob Prout and Evan Prout; his mother-in-law Geraldine Heyne; and brother-in-law Randy Walter.

He was preceded in death by his father Hans Peeters, father-in-law Robert Heyne, and his brother-in-law Einar Vanags.

He was a loving, husband, father, son, brother, and friend to everyone who knew him. He passed his love of auto racing down to his son Rob and his love of the outdoors to his son Joey.

Always one for a good joke, Ron never had problems making others laugh. He will be fondly remembered for how much he loved and cherished his family and friends.

In addition to spending time with his family, he had many activities that he loved. These include fly fishing, biking, auto racing, soccer, traveling, and collecting watches.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, with a service following at 11:30 a.m. at Pilgrim Lutheran Church at 3650 W. 106th St., Carmel, IN 46032.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be sent to the American Diabetes Association or Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
