Robin “Rob” Jackson of Indianapolis passed away on November 20, 2024. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 8, 1963, to Rex and Betty Ann Jackson. He married his wife, Chris, on August 4, 1984. Rob was a jack of all trades and strived to master as many as possible. After nearly 20 years with Olin Brass, he earned an Associate’s Degree that helped launch his career in the tech industry. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Information Science from Purdue University and a collection of certificates in the tech field. Most recently, he achieved three Splunk certifications and was working towards becoming a Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect. His favorite certification was displayed on his license plate - C E H; Certified Ethical Hacker. His love of learning was only surpassed by his love for his family. Rob was dedicated to those he loved and could always be counted on to help anyone in need. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Chris Jackson, his daughter and son-in-law Renee & David Rodriguez, six grandchildren, Devlin, Alyda, David, Solomon, Benicio, and Christopher, his great-grandaughter who is expected in January 2025, his brother Ricky Jackson, and his niece Heather Jackson, and countless others whose lives he touched. A memorial gathering for Rob will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park - 425 N. Holt Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46222
