Robin O. Bryant

Mr. Robin O. Bryant, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.

He was born on March 27, 1938 in Indianapolis to the late Elmer O. and Harriet (Devoe) Bryant.  Robin attended Arsenal Tech High School before joining the USMC, serving honorably from 1954 – 1957.  Following his discharge he met and married the love of his life, Charlotte; they celebrated 53 years of marriage before her death in 2011.  Robin helped to support his growing family by selling cars.  He enjoyed taking the family on camping trips all over.  Robin personally enjoyed golfing, visiting the casino and horse tracks and was a past member of the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his children, Robbin (Rick) Abney, Shannon (Danny) Pell, Todd (Teriea) Bryant, Chasity (Sam) Ray; grandchildren, Cher Holland, Jacob Bryant, Kelsey Bryant, Rhett Abney, Jason Pell, Heather Pollard, Maxwell Ray; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Bryant, Ellie Bryant, James Holland, Carter and Ainsley Pollard, and Erin and Ryan Pell. Robin is also survived by his siblings, Mary Jane Donahue, Harriet Ruth (Bob) Morgan, Donald (Marla) Bryant and James (Carol) Bryant.

A celebration of Robin’s life will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 7pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, with visitation 2 hours prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Parent Project to help fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  www.parentprojectmd.org.
