Roberta J. Thompson

Roberta “Bobbie” J. Thompson of McCordsville entered eternal rest on July 22, 2018 at the age of 79.

She was born June 25, 1939 in Belvedere, Illinois to Jack H. and Sarah “Sally” P. Hiatt.  She was a member of the Oaklandon Baptist Church until it’s closing. She enjoyed crocheting and donating her work to charity, especially hospitals and toy drives.

She is survived by her children Peggy Hayes (Steve), Donna Archer (Matt), and Lenny Thompson; grandchildren Brandi Eggers (Michael), Heather Archer, Keli Denbo (Tyler), Jesi Tinnel (Matt) and Sam Thompson; great-grandchildren Trevor Eggers, Kaelyn Eggers, Madilyn Eggers, Ezri Tinnel, Ronan Tinnel, Sean O’Rourke, Marie Denbo, and Kloey Vance; and great-great-granddaughter Paislee Eggers; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a mother to everyone.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Thompson; her siblings Jackie Hiatt and Shirley White; and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 3 to 8 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, July 27, 2018 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
