Robert Ware Cannon

94 years old, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016. He was born in Marshall, Indiana to the late, Robert C. and Ulela Cannon. Robert was the owner of On the Spot and Greenbrier Auto Parts Store for 35 years. He enjoyed caring for his loved ones and customers. He also loved to dance and travel with his wife Jean Cannon. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the time of WWII. Robert was known for being an avid listener and role model to all who knew him.
Robert is survived by his wife of 74 years, Marjorie “Jean” Cannon; children, Robert Michael Cannon, Claudia Cannon (Martin Coghlan), and Steven Cannon (Linda); 2 grandchildren, Melissa and Meghan; 2 great grandchildren, Dominic and Delphine; sister, Betty Kniptash.
Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Robert.
Family and Friends may gather from 11:00am-1:00pm Friday, November 11, 2016 with Funeral Service at 1:00pm in Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd W. Dr. Indianapolis. Entombment will follow in Washington Park North Cemetery, Indianapolis.
