Robert W. Mount

Bob passed away on August 23rd 2018 at Marquette Manor where he had lived for the past 12 years at the age of 93. He was born to George W. and Julia (Bea) Mount on August 21, 1925.  Bob grew up on the west side of Indianapolis on S. Neal Ave.  He graduated from George Washington H. S. and Butler University.  He served in the Army in World War II.  He was a self-employed electrical contractor retiring in 1991. On August 12, 1949 he married Shirley (See).  This marriage lasted 64 years until the time of Shirley’s passing in 2014.  They had two sons, David and Steven.  Bob was a family man, enjoying time spent through the years at all get-to-gethers.  He loved to hunt, fish, travel and garden.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard, wife Shirley and sons David and Steven.  He is survived by many cousins and friends.  He is also survived by special friend and companion Shirley Shallenberg.
