Robert E. Schram

Robert E. “Bob” Schram, 88 of Martinsville, Indiana, formerly of Knightstown passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon, November 24, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was born on July 17, 1934 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a son of Walter and Wilma (Ulch) Schram.

He married Phyllis Condra in June 21, 1960 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He is survived by his wife Phyllis Schram of Martinsville, Indiana.

Two daughters: Terri (husband David) Stacy of Greenfield, Indiana and Krista (husband Steve) Thacker of Martinsville, Indiana. 

One grandson: Chad (wife Katy) Thacker of Avon, Indiana.

Two great grandchildren: Jace and Cooper Thacker.

Several other relatives survive.

He is preceded in death by one sister: Barbara Maudlin.

Bob greatly enjoyed fantasy baseball and football.  Bob loved to travel, especially to Florida.  Bob and Phyllis had many great trips to not only Florida, but all around the country.  Bob was an excellent story teller, and loved to make you laugh.  Most importantly he loved spending time with his family.  He was a good hearted man that loved life and his family.

A private family graveside service will be held at Washington Park East Cemetery.
