Robert Nathaniel Evans, Sr.

Robert Nathaniel Evans, Sr. passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 8, 2022 at the age of 56.

He was born in Great Lakes, IL on November 1, 1965. Robert was a graduate of Lawrence Central High School and then served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 2010 at the rank of Master Sergeant.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert Nathaniel and Shilpa (Shankar) Evans, Jr.; parents Pastor Edward and Merilyn (Musselman) Evans; siblings: Edward Neel Evans, Dawn Marie Harvey, Michael Edward and Hisae (Akamine) Evans and William Kelley and Donna (Melde) Evans: nieces and nephews: Edward Thomas Evans, Jennifer and Michael Renda, Jessica Evans, Brandon Roth, Brooke Harvey, Marshall Evans, Erica Evans, Dina and Josiah Koskie, Nicole and Nicholas McClain, and Joshua Evans; great-nephews Noah Koskie and Preston Harvey and great-niece, Autumn Evans.

Friends may attend the viewing from 9am until 11am on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, where funeral services will immediately follow beginning at 11am. Burial services will take place at 1pm on Wednesday, Jan. 19th in Marion National Military Cemetery, Marion, IN.
