Robert L Caudell

Robert L. “Bob” Caudell, 89, Noblesville, passed away June 29, 2020. Bob was born in Indianapolis to Robert A. and Norma M Caudell. He graduated from Howe High School in 1948 and went into the US Army, serving in Germany during the Korean War. He worked 40 years at Indiana Bell, retiring as a supervisor. He later went to work at O’Malia’s Fireplace Shop. He enjoyed being an active Freemason and was known as “Cuddles the Clown” to many of the kids. His other memberships include Millersville Lodge #126, Murat Shrine, he was a Past Director of ROJ Court 15 in 1997, and the Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Debi Freund, and great-grandson, Maverick O’Malia.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, JoAnn, daughter, Cindy (Mike) O’Malia, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Murat Shrine Transportation Fund, 510 N New Jersey St, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
Visitation will be held Wednesday July 8th at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd. from 10-12pm. A Masonic funeral service will begin there at 12pm, with funeral services to follow. Online condolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
