Robert James Croghan

Robert James Croghan, 74, passed away surrounded by family November 10, 2022. He was born May 27, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio, to James Emanuel & Eva (Herbst) Croghan.

Bob was a loving husband to Pam for 53 years. They married in 1969 and were lifelong partners “even though sometimes they ain’t got money, he was so in love with you, honey.”

He was a Dad that believed in holding the flashlight where he could see. A Father that believed in returning something borrowed better than you got it. A Dad who was always there to help or coach. A Father that taught life was making mistakes, learning, and never asking someone to do something that you wouldn’t do yourself. A Dad that was loved.

Bob leaves behind his wife Pamela Jane (Key) Croghan; his children Kevin (Jennifer) Croghan, Kelly (Mike) Smith, and Bobby (Wayne Williams) Croghan; his brother Dennis Croghan; and his grandchildren Miley Smith, Maggie Croghan, and Molly Croghan. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Patricia Monroe and Thomas Croghan.
