Robert J. Tate

84, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on July 15, 2021.  Robert was born on April 22, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Verdelous and Rosie Lee Tate.  He was a retired Die Maker for General Motors.  He was an Army Veteran.  He was a member of the American Legion.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Moana Tate; son, Robert J. Tate, Jr; grandson, Christopher Michael Tate; brother, Charlie Tate and his parents.  He is survived by his children, Deborah (Kevin) Nuetzman and Michael (Nicole) Tate; grandchildren, Aaron Nuetzman, Crystal Schmollinger, Brandon Tate and Britney Tate; great-grandchildren, Kylie Schmollinger, Jackson Schmollinger, Derek Tate, Adam Tate, Aidan Nuetzman and Alexis Nuetzman; great great granddaughter, Harper Tate; siblings, Ronnie Tate, Donnie Tate, Jack Tate, Susan Malcom, Donna Murphy and Jerry Tate.  Visitation will be Friday, July 23, 2021 from noon till 1 pm with funeral service at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
