Robert "Bob" J. Huber

Robert "Bob" James Huber of Westfield, IN, formerly of Valparaiso, IN, suddenly passed away in his sleep on June 3, 2024, at the age of 66. He was born in St. Louis, MO, on September 28, 1957, to Joseph and Lenora (Hunley) Huber.

Bob spent his early and middle years in St. Louis, where he met his beloved wife, Patti. They married on November 11th, 1988, and later moved to Valparaiso, IN, to build their life together, raising their two children, son; Collin and daughter; Cameron.

He took great pride in being a loving father, always making time for his kids and using his handyman skills to fix any problem around the house. Bob had a passion for sports memorabilia collecting and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Indianapolis Colts.

In the last year of his life, Bob and Patti moved to Westfield, IN, where he found immense joy, often expressing his happiness about living there. He delighted in exploring the area and attending Colts games. Bob also enjoyed biking the Monon Trail, grilling, and sitting on the patio with his wife and their two cats, listening to music. These activities made his final year one of great enjoyment and fulfillment. While he appreciated nice things, he found true joy in life's simple pleasures.

He is survived by his wife, Patti, their children, Collin and Cameron Huber; stepdaughter, Crystal (Chris) Peterson; grandchildren, Lula and June Peterson; and siblings, Joe (Pat) Huber, Mary (Kieth) Plume, and Ann Huber.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm (Eastern), Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park, Prairie Waters (4180 Westfield Rd. Westfield, IN). A Funeral Service will be held at 1pm, June 8, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan. Burial will follow the funeral service at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery.
