Robert H. "Pap" Crouch 98, of Indianapolis, passedaway October 17, 2017. Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years,Gertie "Gig" Crouch, his daughter, Karen Crowe and grandson,Steven Bradley Crowe. He is survived by his son Robert I. (Carolyn)Crouch; grandchildren, Robert Denis (Beth) Crouch, Bryan (Sally) Crouch, Jill(Shane) Strasser, Michelle (Jon) Mulligan, Rocky Crouch, John Crouch, Cindi(Jay) Childs, David (Jennifer) Crowe, and Julie Crowe; 18 great-grandchildrenand former daughter-in-law Justine Crouch. Bob graduated from Manual HighSchool in 1936 and attended Butler University. He was a WWII U.S. NavyVeteran and a Pearl Harbor Survivor. Bob retired from Olinger Distributing Co.as Vice President and Secretary Treasurer after 50 years of service in theWholesale Liquor and Wine industry. He was a member of The AmericanLegion Brownsburg Post #331, The Antelope Club, Masonic Lodge, Murat Shrine,Scottish Rite and Highland Golf and Country Club. Pap was an avid golfer,winning 14 club championships and numerous other amateur events. He was arecipient of the distinguished Sagamore of the Wabash award among manyothers. Pap was a devoted and loving family man. He was dearlyloved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed. Memorial visitationwill be held Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 1 – 3pm followed by a memorialservice at 3:00 at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd.West Dr., Indianapolis.
