Robert F. Scott

Robert F. Scott, age 85, husband of Amelia “Boots” Scott, of Decatur Township passed away on April 19, 2017. He was born October 10, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana to John and Orpha Scott. He graduated from Decatur Central High School. After serving 37 years, he retired from Eli Lilly. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed square dancing, traveling and maintaining his rental properties. He also loved baseball and Indiana University basketball.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Amelia, daughter, Stacey L. Scott, brother, Richard L. Scott and great-granddaughter, Amber N, Kelley. Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, Robert L. (Vickie Shimer) Scott, Sherri L. (Jim) Scott Lang and Douglas L. (Karen Lickliter) Scott, 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
