Robert Ellis Bowsher

Robert Ellis Bowsher, 82, passed away peacefully in Wisconsin on October 20, 2021 surrounded by the love of his family and covered in prayers. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 21, 1939 to the late Henry Bowsher and Anna Bell Riley. Robert served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He spent his career in professional sales. Many will remember Robert for how much he loved to dance and make others laugh or smile with his funny phrases and jokes. He will be remembered most for the time he spent enjoying his family and the unconditional love and pride he had for all of them.

Robert is survived by his loving daughters, Kimberlee (Robert) Ageloff, Kerry (Robert) Perry and Kristin (Rene) Howard; his grandchildren, Marcus (Katie) Bowsher, Brittany Howard, Sara Howard, Teagan (Bryan) Paielli, Samantha Bowsher, Daniel Bowsher, Tatiana Perry, Alexander Perry, Kyle Ageloff, William Ageloff and Joshua Ageloff; his siblings, Sylvia (Michael) Metzger, Shirley McDonald, Sonja Jean (Michael) Bowsher-Nye, Donald (Caroline) Bowsher and ten great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Richard Bowsher, his grandson Jonathan Howard, his mother Anna Bell Riley, his father Henry Bowsher, his stepfather James Riley and his brother-in-law, Walter McDonald.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan, Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St. Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Robert will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
