Robert David “Bob” Armentrout

59, Indianapolis, passed away November 22, 2016. Bob was born in Columbus, OH on March 4, 1957 to parents, Eugene E. and Rita (Cartwright) Armentrout. He worked as a Police Officer with Capitol Police and IUPD before working security at Camp Atterbury. Bob was a member of Sts. Francis and Clare Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, guns, horseback riding and all things outdoors. His greatest love, however, was spending time with his grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Eugene and son, Thomas S. Armentrout. He is survived by his mother, Rita (Cartwright) Armentrout; wife, Judy E. (Smith) Mattingly Armentrout; daughter, Robin Armentrout; step-sons: David Mattingly (Samantha), Jonathan Mattingly (Erica), and James Mattingly (Shantel); 8 grandchildren: Sarah, Kim, Alexander, Alexis, Elizabeth, Joey, Rebecca, and James; and his siblings: Tish Hevel, Jim Armentrout, David Armentrout, and Annie McManis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Sts. Francis and Clare Catholic Church, 5901 W. Olive Branch Rd., Greenwood, IN 46143, with calling there from 10am until service time.
