Robert Clark Estes of Zionsville, IN passed awayunexpectedly on April 2, 2017 at 54 years of age. Robert was born in Paris,Texas on July 28, 1962. He is survived by his wife Julia Estes and his childrenAaron Estes of Dallas, TX and Natalie Estes of the home. He is also survived bya brother Richard (Lynn) of Frisco, TX and sister Elizabeth Estes of Dallas, TX. Inaddition, he is survived by three nephews, Andy, Justin and Landon, and three cousins, Johnny, Elisabeth and Rebecca. He was preceded in death by hisparents, Clark and Jane Estes.
A graduate of Austin College, Robert first worked in medicalresearch within The University of Texas System in Dallas and Austin, TX. Morerecently, he worked for The AME Group as a Network Engineer.
A very kind person, Robert loved to have fun and wantednothing more than to make others happy, especially his family. He and Juliawere just settling into their empty nest, vacationing regularly on the beachesof Mexico. Robert loved football but was fanatical about the Dallas Cowboys.Robert was also passionate about craft beers, and he enjoyed his conversationsand tasting events with many in that community.
A memorial service was held on April 5 at Flanner andBuchanan- Zionsville. Burial will be at a later date in Paris, TX. Memorialgifts may be made in his memory to the Estes-Martens Scholarship, c/o ParisEducation Foundation, 2255 South Collegiate (Paris High School), PO Box 356,Paris, TX 75461 (Donations provide college scholarships to Paris High Schoolseniors) or the American Heart Association.
