Robert C. Green,

87 of Indianapolis, passed away at home on Monday, November 6, 2017. He was born on February 12, 1930 in Tipton, IN to the Late Lowell and Nellie Olive (Haley) Green. Robert was a graduate of Thomas Howell High School and served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a custodian for the Indianapolis Public School System, retiring in 1995. Robert was an avid sports fan and loved to cheer on the Cubs, Pacers and, Colts teams. He is survived by his children; Robert (Ginny) Green, Larry (Beth) Goergen, Cathy (Mark) Najmon and Pam (Frank) Gordall; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Robert is also survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 2pm at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
