Robert C. "Bobby" Byrd

Robert C. “Bobby” Byrd, 72 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on October 17, 2021. He was born December 20, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN. Bobby worked many years for Honeywell and Owens Corning. Bobby was an avid bike rider and could be found riding his bike all over Indianapolis. He also enjoyed walking and riding his scooter and spending time in the tanning booth. He truly enjoyed life and was dearly loved by so many and will be missed by all who knew him. Bobby is survived by his loving children, Jeannie Baker, Angie Byrd, Catherine Loftus, Alicia Bundy, James Morlan, Jenny Byrd, and Teressa Byrd. He is also survived by grandchildren, Raymond Byrd, Kaylae Cooper, Miranda Dowell, Zackery Byrd, Meagan Baker, Lyndsey Baker, Ashleigh Chavez, Kaden Bundy, Shianah Morlan, Calen Morlan, James Morlan, Jr., Harmony Morlan, several great grandchildren, and his sister, Marty Jarrett. Bobby is preceded in death by his mother Elnora Jarett and his longtime companion, Joyce “Jo” Morlan. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM with his funeral service at 2:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park. He will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
