Robert "Bob" W. Davis Sr.

Robert “Bob” William Davis Sr. of Indianapolis IN passed away on April 15, 2020 at the age of 83.

He was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late John Norbert and Opal Viola Miller Davis on August 1, 1936.

Bob attended Arsenal Tech High school and went on to dedicate 38 years to General Motors (Chevrolet Truck and Bus) where he worked in various positions and retired as a crane signalman. In his free time, he loved to spend time with his family (especially family reunions). He loved to fish and always looked forward to his annual fishing trips with his friends to Tallahassee, Florida (Lake Jackson). His love for fishing led to his nickname, “Bass Bob”.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Emma Davis; children, Robert Davis Jr., Rebecca Davis Willis, Ronald Davis, and Rocky Rothwell.

He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Davis, Brothers John, Walter, Paul, Sisters Ruth, Janette, and Dorothy.

The family is holding private services.
