Robert "Bob" Raney

Robert “Bob” Raney, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully April 8^th, 2021. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on November 19^th, 1938, to parents Vernon and Eva Tidd.

He worked at AM General and was a member of the UAW for many years before retiring.

Bob was a kind, loving gentleman. He was a valued member at Lighthouse Baptist church. Bob enjoyed restoring and rebuilding cars. Above all, Bob loved spending time with his family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Bob is survived by his children, Robert Raney Jr. (Vickie), and Latisha Raney; grandchildren Zach, DJ, Amanda, Ashley, and Amber; great-grandchildren DJ, Payton, Nickolas, Cason, Ayden, and Miranda; his siblings Danny, Jimmy, Gary, June, Linda, Kathy, and Penny; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings Patty, Barbara, Mike, Mark, and Wendell.

Visitation for Bob will be at Flanner Buchanan Memorial Park, Tuesday April 13^th, from 11am- 2pm. His funeral service will begin at 2pm. Bob will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.
