Robert "Bob" Edward Pedigo

Robert “Bob” Edward Pedigo, age 101 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday morning, October 22, 2024, two days after his 101st birthday.

Bob was born on October 20, 1923 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Jerman Tilford and Mary Esther (Finn) Pedigo. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Leland, sister, Lelah Faye, and granddaughter Natalie.

Bob was married to Helen (Wood) Pedigo. She preceded him in death in 1998.

Bob was a World War II Veteran.

Bob is survived by his two sons: John (wife Olanna) Pedigo of Indianapolis, Indiana and Timothy (wife Pam) Pedigo also of Indianapolis, Indiana.

He is survived by five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East Funeral Center, located at 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229.

An additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Indiana War Memorial, located at 51 East Michigan Street, downtown Indianapolis, Indiana 46204. His funeral service will begin at 12:00 Noon.

A private burial service will be held at Washington Park East Cemetery where Bob will be laid to rest with his wife Helen.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to a Military or Veteran organization of the donor's choice.
