Robert Leon Pagel was born April 13, 1944, in Key west, Florida during World War II and resided in the Indianapolis area.
He was in a training program at Goodwill Industries and then worked for several years at Meridian Hills Country Club. After leaving the country club he worked for his brother at Pagels Body Shop.
Bob loved watching TV and his DVDs, especially Scooby-Doo. Bob loved to ride his bike to garage sales and go shopping. His favorite thing was going to Flea Markets with his family, especially his mom. Bob loved his family and was the sweetest and kindest soul who was greatly loved by his family and friends.
He was the son of the late Dolliver and Dorothy Pagel. His brother Terry Pagel and niece Andee Hudson preceded him in death. Bob is survived by his brother Larry Pagel (Michelle) from Seymour, IN and sister, Jakky Golden (Fred) from Florida; 5 nieces, Laura Tilford (Gary), April Pagel, Meliegh Pagel, Kelli Pagel, and Tani Mays; 3 nephews Chad Pagel (Kim), Cory Mays (Erin), and Fred Golden; 8 great nephews, 9 great nieces, 2 great great nephews and 1 great great niece.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 11-12pm at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive in Indianapolis. A funeral service will follow at 12pm. Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the Humane Society in honor of Bob and his beloved dogs Symone, Smokey, and Scooby.
