Robert 'Bob' L. Petro

Robert ‘Bob’ L. Petro, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 28, 2016 at the age of 70. He was born in Bloomington, Indiana, February 20, 1946 to Zella Hunter and Rex Petro. Bob was a member of Chapel Rock Christian Church and a proud veteran of the US Navy. Bob was an accomplished bowler. He was employed 43 years in the General Motors Parts Sales Division, including 25 years at Dan Young Chevrolet and Blossom Chevrolet, retiring in 2009. He was a little league baseball coach, enjoying golf and traveling with his wife and grand-children in his motor home, covering most of the United States and Canada. He is survived by his wife, Dorrissie; Daughters, Celli Dugger and Melanie Branham and many grand and great-grand children. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 3rd at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway. Visitation will be 12p-2p with farewell service at 2p. Immediately after service, Bob will be laid to rest at West Ridge Park Cemetery with final service in the Chapel.
