Robert Bob' Gatto, Sr.

December 24, 1929 — July 10, 2017

Robert (Bob) F. Gatto Sr. 87, passed away on July 10th, 2017 from complications from heart disease.

Bob met the love of his life, Mary (Jenny) Neal while working at Coca Cola Bottling Co. in Indianapolis. They recently celebrated 68 years of marriage

He is survived by his wife Jenny, and his five children: Daughter, Kathy Haan-Hall and her husband Steve Hall; son, Steve Gatto and his wife Sandy; son, Tim Gatto; son, Bob Gatto Jr. and his wife Christy; son, Dan Gatto

Grandchildren, Chris and his wife Casey Haan, Andrew and his wife Andrea Haan, Matt and his wife Lindsey Haan, Erin Foley and her husband Tom, Kevin Gatto and his wife Katherine, Steve Gatto, Brittany Kirby, Jacob Gatto and Kaley Gatto.

Great grandchildren, Nicholas and Jacob Haan, Breezy and Mathew Listman, Nathan Jablonski, Allison and Kaitlyn Foley, Cheyenne and Jack Gatto, Steve Gatto, Hope and Sophia Kirby.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Kinzler, Brother Joe Gatto, and son-in-law Nick Haan.

He attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He donated and helped those in need with gifts from his produce Company, Gatto Produce.

A special thanks to the employees at Rosegate Assisted Living and Hospice for their kindness and continued care.

Viewing will be held from 9AM –11AM on Thursday July 13th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St., Indianapolis, IN. A celebration of life mass is immediately after the viewing.

Interment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10612 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN.
