Rita I. Miller

Rita I. Miller, 82 of Indianapolis, passed away on February 21, 2018. She was born on October 14, 1935 in Ripley County, Indiana to the late Estal C. and Harpie Shonk. She married her beloved husband, Harry F. Miller, on November 25, 1956.

She was a third grade teacher at IPS School 109.

Rita was a member of Westview Christian Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Harry Miller; and her children, Jeff and Tim Miller.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway, 2950 N. High School Rd., from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Services will be on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway at 12 p.m. noon, with one hour of visitation prior. Burial will take place at Lincoln Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
