Ricky Allen Willoughby

May 6, 1992 — July 21, 2018

Indianapolis, Indiana

Rick Willoughby, also known as “Lil Ricky”, passed away on July 21st, 2018 in his sleep, he was only 26 years old. It is thought he experienced apnea during his final hours. He was born on May 6, 1992 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana to Richard “Rick, Big Rick” Willoughby and Lisa Cubel. Rick loved many different things. From food to animals to his friends and family; he found enjoyment helping those around him. He always had a hand to lend when one was needed, and he enjoyed life for what it was, not for what it wasn’t. He always worked with what he had and not what he didn’t have, regardless of the situation he was in. Rick had a large family who cared a lot about him. He is predeceased by mother, Lisa Cubel. Surviving to carry on his legacy are, father, Richard Willoughby and step-mother, Lisa; step-father, Vinny Miccoli; sister and brother-in-law, Kelly Willoughby “Hilda Jr” and Justin Watkins; best friend, Daniel Lemaster; nephews, Clyde, Jaystin, and Conner; his only niece, Skylah “Hilda 3rd”; uncles, Travis Willoughby, Timmy Hoots, David Cubel and Jimmy Webb Jr.; aunts, Janice Randell, Carry Moore, Candy Watkins, Loretta Willoughby, and Sherry Willoughby; grandmothers, Linda Watkins, Nancy Webb and Carman Willoughby; grandfathers, Gary Watkins, Jimmy Webb, and Lynyrd Willoughby; childhood friends, Josh Dunkin, Jordan Tridle, Christian Gibson, Austin Barnes, and Kyle Buster. Rick always lived as though every day was his last. He was often heard saying, “Hillllddddaaaa”, “If I wasn’t on this couch, it’d be floating. Did you know that?”, “If you’re going to be lazy, be good at it” and “In order of the G** D*** Teaky Blinders”. He was one of a kind and will be missed by those around him.
