Richard W. -Dick- Clifton

Richard W. “Dick” Clifton, 88 of Carmel, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017. Dick was born February 14, 1929 in Indianapolis to the late Leo and Julia Clifton. He was a graduate of Shortridge High School and a 1951 graduate of Butler University where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. Dick was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.

Dick worked in marketing for RCA; later Consumer Electronics, for 33years. He was a member of the Indianapolis Jaycees and Orchard Park Presbyterian Church in Carmel. He was also active in Junior Achievement in Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, March 30 at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, where family and friends are invited to gather from 9:30 am until the time of the service.

Dick is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara; daughters, Judi L. (husband, Scott) Morrisson and Catherine A. (husband, Jim) Cunningham; grandchildren, Riley C. (husband, Jordan) Hoelzer, Clay S. Morrisson, Jay N. Morrisson, Connor P. Cunningham and Christopher J. Cunningham; sister, Arlene McIntire. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie L. Clifton.
