With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Scott Pringle, aged 56, who left us November 12, 2024. Scott was born July 23, 1968, in Indianapolis to James and Carolyn Pringle. Scott grew up in Indianapolis and attended Franklin Central High School. Scott was known for his humor, lifelong friendships, and all-around positive energy growing up through the years.

Scott built a successful career in commercial sales, where his dedication and expertise made a significant impact on his colleagues and clients alike. He possessed a natural ability to connect with others, showcasing his vibrant personality and genuine kindness. But above all, Scott took most pride in his role as a loving husband, father, and friend. Scott lived a life rich in love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Married to the love of his life, Patricia, in 2001, their bond was a true testament to unconditional love and commitment. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home, filled with joy and laughter.0 Scott delighted in spending time with their children. He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Pringle; parents James and Carolyn Pringle; son Mark (Jenn) Purvis; daughters Jennifer (Nick) Minglin, Jessica (Aaron) Brown, Taylor Pringle, and Hailee Pringle; siblings Johnny Brown, Janet Pringle-Blanche and Patricia King; and 7 grandchildren. He deeply treasured the moments spent with his family, always ensuring that gatherings were moments of happiness and celebration.

Scott had a passion for various hobbies that brought him immense joy. He was an avid Steelers football fan, relishing the excitement of game days with friends and family. Whether he was enjoying sun-soaked beach vacations or perfecting his grilling skills while savoring a cigar and a glass of bourbon, he embodied a spirit of fun and adventure.

He was preceded in death by his beloved sister Pamela Pringle-Edmonds; brothers-in-law Jeffrey Blanche and Timothy Medsker; and father-in-law Michael Bennett, all of whom he missed dearly. Scott leaves behind a multitude of memories shared with friends and family; his warmth, infectious laughter, and caring heart will never be forgotten.

As we gather to celebrate Scott’s extraordinary life and legacy, we find comfort knowing he is watching over us, still cheering for his Steelers and forever filling our lives with love. Scott will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate to have known him.
