Richard Mckinley 'Mac' Morton

Richard McKinley ‘Mac’ Morton, 94, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021.  He was born on April 30, 1927 in Baltimore, MD to the late McKinley Charles and Helen Emma (Washbaugh) Morton.

Mac was a graduate of Penn State University and served in the U.S. Armed Forces.  He was a devoted volunteer and tirelessly gave of his time to many charities and organizations.  Mac was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Lions Club, and was a dedicated 30+ year employee of Eli Lilly, retiring as the Head of Security.

He is survived by his children, Vickie (Dave) Snyder, Allison Randoll, Kim (Bill) Maya, Richard M. Morton II; and grandson, Jordan Chambers.  Mac is also survived by his brother, Jack Morton, MD and sister, Susan Lohman.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Lynn Morton.
