75, of Plainfield, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on August 28, 2022. Richard was born on October 7, 1946, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Victor and Mildred Holtgrave. He was a business owner. He loved his family, football and motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gladys Curl, four siblings and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Diana Kay Buchanan Holtgrave; children, Scott (Linda) Holtgrave, Angie (Mike) Woods, Jamie (David) Freije, Ricky (Tonya) Holtgrave and Kelly Holtgrave Fisher; grandchildren, Cassi (Sergio) Castillo, Nick (Natalie) Holtgrave, Aaron (Brooke) Holtgrave, Tyler (Hunter) Holtgrave, Jordan (Jacob) Freije, Adam (Nadia) Brackin, Jacob (Faith) Freije, Allison (Drew) Brackin, Carson Fisher and Oliva Fisher; eleven great-grandchildren and Sister, Betty Welch. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 3 pm to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
