Richard G Arnold

Richard Guy Arnold, 65, passed away on November 15, 2022.  He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Leonard and Patricia (Lemieux) Arnold.  Richard was a machinist for Best Lock Corporation for 44 years and he retired just this year.  He met the love of his life Rebecca Louise Wilcox at Steak N’ Shake on the east side of Indianapolis.  They were married on October 28, 1976 and was a loving husband to her for 46 years.  Richard was a family man always having 2 jobs to support his family.  While having those 2 jobs, he never missed any of his kid’s life events.  He coached both his children in baseball and softball.  He enjoyed boating and hot rods.  He also loved spending time with his only granddaughter Carlee.

Richard is survived by his wife Rebecca Arnold; two children, Nicholas (Stacey) Arnold and Kristin Whitlow; granddaughter Carlee Whitlow; sister Sharon Head; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Patricia Arnold and brother-in-law Chuck Head.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 4pm to 8pm at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East.  A funeral service will be held the following day Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 11am.  Richard will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetary.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Fountaintown Christian Church.
