Richard “Dick” Allen Gilliam

Richard A. Gilliam passed away July 1, 2022 while wife, Linda, held his hand and whispered words of endearment.  Richard is survived by his wife of 57 years, their children Kimberly (Richard) Howard, Scott (Kimberly) Gilliam and two grandsons Colton Howard and Demetrius Gilliam.  Richard retired from M.S.D. Warren Township in 2008 after 24 years of teaching Machine Trades at the Walker Career Center.  He was also Adjunct Professor teaching Machine Trades at Ivy Tech Community College for a number of years.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.

A gathering will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 12PM-2PM, a celebration of life for family and close friends will begin at 2PM. All will be held at Flanner Buchanan—Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, IN, 46229.
